A couple of days after beating Drake to become the rapper with the highest ever Spotify monthly listeners, Kendrick Lamar has achieved a new Spotify milestone.
The Compton emcee now has over 95 million monthly listeners, with the number expected to rise even higher, having been boosted by his 2025 Grammy Awards triumph and Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.
It is interesting to see how today’s arrival of Drake’s collaborative album with PARTYNEXTDOOR will affect his own numbers. Fans of Drake’s OVO label (to which PARTYNEXTDOOR is signed) definitely won’t fail them.
We expect a direct streaming battle between the two global superstars, with K Dot’s GNX album, and singles “Not Like Us“, “Tv Off” and “Luther”, tipped to return to the top of Billboard 200 and Billboard 100.
