Avery Lynch – “the boys who don’t know what they want”
Pennsylvania-born singer-songwriter Avery Lynch is known for her gorgeous piano-driven sound. Storytelling also forms the foundation of the Los Angeles-based artist’s style, as is encapsulated by her newest offering, “the boys who don’t know what they want”. This broody indie-pop song about dealing with an indecisive person. “I wrote this song about those ‘almost’ relationships that I’ve been in myself and have observed around me — people will act the part of someone in a relationship while not wanting one, or they’ll want a relationship and not act on it,” Avery reveals, her frustrations well captured in the song. I really like the minimalist production.
