Amanda Kongshaug, the Stockholm-based artist going under the moniker ALBA, is not your ordinary talent. As the singer exhibited on her debut EP, Castle in the Sky, she is also an incredible songwriter who tends to imbue her lyrics with raw emotion and reflective storytelling.

ALBA’s latest single “Four Walls” is especially uplifting. Lyrically, the singer found inspiration in personal experiences — “Four Walls” was written at a time when she was trying to heal.

The production blends light drum and bass rhythms with pop sensibilities, highlighting ALBA’s soaring vocals and smooth melodies.
