Besphrenz drop two new tracks, “heart attack” and “kozy”, ahead of debut album – Aipate

Highly tipped indie-R&B trio Besphrenz are expected to drop their debut album, bert, on October 24th. The lead single, “yeah”, was released at the begining of July to great reception.

Well, Besphrenz are back with a captivating 2-in-1 single. The two songs are “kozy” and “heart attack” — the latter arrived paired with a lovely music video.

“heart attack” is extra catchy, despite broody lyrics. Singer  C.J. Smith explains, “It’s been quite the journey with this song. I’ve always dealt with health anxiety and at the time of writing it I was in a really low place mentally but trying to turn that around by exposing myself to it. I’ve learned to be ok with uncertainty and I think this song has sort of become my mantra through that.”
