Canadian artist JayWood’s newest offering is a blissfully psychedelic neo-soul tune. The song’s title, “Sun Baby”, suits its vibe perfectly. That vibe is further accentuated by the music video, which is sunkissed and nature-loving. JayWood (real name Jeremy Haywood-Smith) is currently working on an album titled Leo Negro. “‘SUN BABY’ is an embrace of my vulnerability, and acceptance that I need it to connect with people, an audience, friends, lovers, mentors, idols, whoever,” he says about the new song, which I find quite therapeutic.

Luke Marzec – “Broken Promises”
The rollout of Luke Marzec’s debut album, Something Good Out Of Nothing, is steadily on course. After releasing the song “Space To Be Free“, the UK musician has since followed it with “Broken Promises”. This one is billed as the final single and, with it, Luke seeks renewal of some sorts. “‘Broken Promises’ is about new beginnings. It’s about jumping on a plane, going to the other side of the world, and starting afresh,” he reveals. The seasoned singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is set to drop the album on 18th August.

Over the years, anaiis has enthralled listeners with her powerful voice and inspired songwriting. The French-Senegalese artist is retaining that magic as she enters a new chapter. She is working on a new album which we can get a taste of by listening to her newest song, “Deus Deus”. Taylor Jules – “Sage Advice”

US artist Jake Knox has a new album out. Titled Jake Is Dead, Pt.1, the project showcases his carefully crafted concoction of sounds. “Your Love” featuring singer Alexi Blue is one of the songs on the album. The song came with an accompanying music video which captures its summery vibe perfectly. I love its lush soundscape. “‘Your Love’” is a song I wrote at one of the higher points of my life. After having been through 2 near death experiences and a big heart ache, I finally felt that spark again that had been missing for sometime. Every now and then you feel like life has got you on the ropes forever but then an amazing person can change your life in a second,” Jake notes.

Crayon x FKJ x ELIZA – “Diamond Miner”
Parisian producer Crayon enlisted French multi-instrumentalist/producer FKJ and English vocalist ELIZA for his new song, “Diamond Miner”. The song offers listeners another taste of Crayon’s forthcoming album, Home Safe, which is a project inspired by his childhood and the idea of home and what it means to different individuals. “Diamond Miner” layers ambient synths over jazz-influenced R&B rhythms. It embodies the kind of warmth that permeates the whole album.

LOV – “Relate”
2025 continues to be a dynamic year for Canadian newcomer LOV — the singer made her debut and followed the song with two more. “Relate” is her third and latest single. The piano-guided soulful ballad is filled with melodies and harmonies that augment its powerful lyrics. “I wrote this song about a time when I decided that it was time for me to stop asking myself if I was ‘good enough’ and started asking myself if things were fit for me. It’s about standing in your power as a woman and realizing the power in choice that you have,” LOV explains.
