Hawaiian-native EDM producer KEPIK returns to the Heaven Sent label as he releases a new single in collaboration with Californian soundsmith ELUDE.
The song is christened “Northern Star” and features vocals by New Jersey-born singer Luma. It combines KEPIK’s brand of melodic bass with ELUDE’s dubstep style, with Luma’s airy vocals gelling smoothly with the atmospheric instrumentation. “Northern Star” manages to transport listeners to a place of momentary bliss.
“For anyone who’s ever felt the weight of another day press down like it might break you; for those long drives in the dark where the silence gets loud, and the road feels endless. Because everybody’s got a northern star, that distant light that keeps them looking up, even when everything feels too heavy to carry,” KEPIK says.
