With “Power”, Nuala weaves a haunting yet empowering ballad

After taking a short break from releasing music, London-based powerhouse vocalist Nuala returned early this year reinvigorated by her new publishing deal with Insomniac.

Now, she follows up her “Damn You’re Cold” single with another haunting ballad. The new song is called “Power” and sees Nuala embracing vulnerability bigtime.

Accompanied by a gently plucked acoustic guitar, the singer stretches her amazing vocal range as she delivers honest lyrics about self-empowerment. The additional strings accentuate the song’s deeply emotive feel. Admittedly, “Power” did tug on my heartstrings.
