Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics return with bold new anthem, “Step Right Up” – Aipate
Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics, the Atlanta-based retro soul band known for their Motown-inspired sound, are back after a long hiatus.
Led by a powerhouse vocalist in Ruby Velle, the outfit has dropped some amazing releases, including the albums It’s About Time (2012) and State of All Things (2021). Personally, I only got to know them four years ago when they released the single “Just Blink“.
Their return is marked by the arrival of “Step Right Up”, a song steeped in social consciousness. “Step Right Up” is a bold and stirring anthem urging us to organize and try and make an impact in our communities.
