Newcomer Hana Bushara delivers “No Label” single & video – Aipate

There’s this new single that opened the door to Hana Bushara’s world for me. Bushara is an up-and-coming artist from the island of Bermuda and the song I’m referring to is “No Label”.

Inspired by the work of renowned surf photographer Seth De Roulet, “No Label” leans into the abstract while remaining stirring emotionally. According to Hana, the acoustic-driven song “speaks to the obscured boundaries of friendship, pointing to the tension that develops in ambiguity and intimacies that oscillate within the plane of the unnamed.”

Produced by BermudaCal, and paired with an evocative video filmed by Dominic O’Donnell (a.k.a Domamaniac), “No Label” is really beautiful. Besides the inspired songwriting, listeners get to be wowed by Hana’s soulful vocals.
