Trying to pin Yarni‘s music down to a particular genre will surely prove to be a tall order. His style keeps changing in a fascinatingly adventurous way.
Having exhibited various styles across his numerous albums and EPs, the Sheffield multi-instrumentalist and producer will be offering something different with his next album, Anemoia.
The first single, “Temperature’s Rising”, is a disco-fuelled modern dance tune — a record that sounds so fresh despite being rooted in the past. Nathaniel Short‘s honeyed vocals augments the song’s nostalgic feel.
