Indie Rock Legends The Holloways Mark Their 20th Anniversary with a Long-Awaited Comeback Tour – Jem Girl at the Piano

Noughties indie fans celebrate!

The North London indie rock legends behind the 2007 smash hit Generator, The Holloways are back and ready to transport you back to 2007 and the height of the indie rock revival movement.

The Holloways

The band initially met in the iconic music venue Nambucca on Holloway road. 20 years later, surviving chaos with record labels, member changes, and even losing their gear in a fire, The Holloways are reuniting for a long overdue comeback tour this October.

At their peak, The Holloways toured with fellow indie icons like Babyshambles, The Pogues, The Kooks, The Rakes, The Wombats, The Pigeon Detectives, and CSS.

Their debut album So This Is Great Britain? became known for its infectious hooks and politically cheeky lyrics, qualities that resonate with fans old and new. Now, with a rapid-fire run of shows at iconic venues across the country, The Holloways are back to do what they do best: “generate” good times and great music wherever they go.

“We honestly can’t wait to get back out there,” the Holloways say. “To still have people singing along to Generator or Two Left Feet after 20 years feels just so incredible. This tour’s all about good energy, good music, and reconnecting with fans. We’d love to see both the old school crowd and newer listeners rocking out at our gigs. Expect a proper celebration of what indie music is all about.”

Joining them on the road will be rising indie outfit Camens, adding even more energy to what promises to be a nostalgia-fuelled, feel-good celebration of British indie rock.
