SNACKTIME – “ENOUGH.”

I hadn’t heard about SNACKTIME until I stumbled upon their latest single, “ENOUGH.” This is the perfect introduction to a band whose growth has been organic and, simply, impressive. They started by performing free shows in Philadelphia about five years ago, with the thousands of hours spent crafting their sound leading to amazing songs like “ENOUGH.” — this song is just as pensive as it is uplifting. I bet you will find the listening experience irrefutably therapeutic.

Suze – “Gimme That Love”

The song that introduces us to the world of Estonian singer Susanna Aleksandra and her jazz-rooted band Suze is called “Gimme That Love”. A soulful gem with hints of funk, this tune feels quite tantalizing. Susanna’s sultry vocals and yearnful lyrics make it a hearty singalong. The band comprises Bianca Rantala, Aapo-Matti Puhakka, Mathei Florea, Janno Trump, Ramuel Tafenau, and, of course, Susanna, who are all Estonians.

The Altons – “Love You Like That”

Hailing from Los Angeles is this talented group of musicians called The Altons. Fronted by Adriana Flores and Bryan Ponce, the band is completed by Caitlin Moss (drums) and Chris “Bolillo” Manjarrez (bass). For a taste of The Alton’s soulful sound, you’ve got to listen to their latest song, which was released in the company of a heart-warming music video. “‘Love You Like That’ is one we have been itching to release,” the band says about this song. “Its midtempo groove sets it apart from the latest releases, with bright piano parts & a catchy chorus. It’s a fun and playful sun-kissed song. We wanted the video to showcase what a day in LA could look and feel like for two lovers.

YOUNGTONES – “Free”

What started as a spontaneous studio session at the SXSW festival in 2017 soon blossomed into a full music project called YOUNGTONES. Producer Matthew Young and singer-songwriter Luke Wade have since captivated fans with their sound, an infectious nod to R&B and soul music of the ’60s and ’70s. You get a feel of that retro style in their newest single, “Free”, which is lifted from the upcoming album Midnight Sun. The song is a breezy anthem that you’ll want to play on repeat.
