I’m totally placing Lew Apollo in that category of the artists who won me over with their first song I ever listened to. In Lew’s case, the song is “Let The Light In”, which the Northern Minnesota-raised American singer released two Fridays ago. It arrived paired with a riveting music video Vered Rodriguez and starring Lew and Mello Jaxn.

“Let The Light In” is a soulful track imbued with funky indie pop elements. The song’s production is as smooth as Apollo’s vocals.

The artist notes: “‘Let The Light In” is a story of being left by your partner and being too weak to function. I wrote and produced this song in a few hours one night and it was the first time I felt like I could produce the sound I was hearing in my head.“
