SLANDER and San Holo team up for “Broken Hearted” (feat. Julia Church) – Aipate
Fans of melodic bass must have been thrilled at the idea of Dutch producer San Holo teaming up with US producer duo SLANDER.
Well, the result is here, and it features vocals by South African-born singer Julia Church. Called “Broken Hearted”, the melodic dubstep track hits you with a wave of emotion immediately it starts playing.
The song’s topline and production are both beautifully crafted. All the artists involved brought their A-game to this project.
San Holo reveals, “SLANDER sent me Julia’s amazing vocals, right when I was going through a breakup. At the time, I was traveling around the world for shows, and I decided to stay in Austin, Texas, for a while to isolate myself. No one goes through life without having their heart broken. This song is a reminder to keep going and hold on even when life brings you down.”
