Ellie Marie set to release brand new single Rock Bottom on 18th July 2025 – Jem Girl at the Piano
Bristolian-raised cowgirl, Ellie Marie is a pop-country singer-songwriter blending the emotional storytelling of heartbreak, love and real life with the energy of modern country. Influenced heavily by powerhouse women in Shania Twain and Taylor Swift, Ellie brings a fresh voice to the UK country scene with lyrics that hit close to home.
A self-taught talent, she performs regularly in the south-west and in January 2025, released her debut EP, “No Need for Words” which received support from UK Country Radio and Country Line Radio. Just because she’s new doesn’t mean she’s any less brilliant… you’re going to want to stick around and watch her make her mark on the scene in the UK, and worldwide.
On July 18th, Ellie Marie is set to release “Rock Bottom”. Think Shania Twain meets Colbie Caillat; a traditional old school 90s country song with modern country production, and a summer-vibe feeling.
Speaking of the single, Ellie says:
“Rock Bottom is a song that I wrote after going through a difficult breakup, it’s about that gut-punch moment when you see the person who broke your heart for the first time and realise you’re still standing in the wreckage. I think everyone will be able to relate to it somehow.”
