Valley Onda share new single, “Brutha” – Aipate
The most recent single from Sydney-based Australian trio Valley Onda is titled “Brutha”. A perfect example of the outfit’s lush, indie-electronic sound, the song gives listeners the first taste of their forthcoming full-length album.
“Brutha” was written following the COVID-19 pandemic and is an introspective ode to resilience and rebirth.
“It’s about how doubt can shape you, but it doesn’t have to define you,” Valley Onda shares. “We wrote this track during a time of isolation and re-evaluation, and it became a kind of quiet rebellion—about reclaiming your voice when it’s been buried too long.”
The trio consists of Jordan, Michiya and Galen. Their music marries influences from indie-pop, folk and electronica, as exhibited by this new song.
