CATBEAR have a new song, “Who Cares?” – listen – Aipate
Brighton-based duo CATBEAR have just released a new single, “Who Cares?”. The upbeat indie pop song is called “Who Cares?”.
Its vibrant sound embodies the band’s signature fusion of indie pop and synth pop. The vibrant energy masks the vulnerability expressed in the lyrics.
Describing the song, CATBEAR singer Zoe says: “it’s that quiet panic before you’ve even left the house. You want to go out and be part of things, but you’re already working out how long you have to stay before it’s okay to leave. I’m either worried I’m missing out, or second-guessing everything the moment I get there. The song sounds upbeat, but underneath it’s me trying to stay grounded – reminding myself it’s okay to show up, be a bit awkward, and not care so much what anyone thinks.”
