listen to the chill alt-R&B track – Aipate
I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for those vulnerable songs that feel more like heartfelt confessions. “Cry” by R&B/soul singer PS Joey fall right in that category.
The artist who hails from the US state of Georgia says he wrote the song during an ADHD-induced mental spiral, dedicating it to “listeners who feel everything all at once, the ones who overthink, stay up too late, and need permission to break down.“
Dressed in chill, lo-fi production, the alt-R&B track feels calmingly cathartic. “It’s therapy wrapped in melody,” Joey remarks.
The deep, almost-rumbling bassline is especially captivating. Listen to “Cry” and connect with PS Joey on Instagram.
