I recently stumbled upon this Nigerian newcomer, Dumomi The Jig, and I’m glad I did. His song “Shayo” got me hooked instantly. It is anthemic and full of energy.
The vibrant afrobeats track was released as part of a 2-song project called Feels Like Friday, the other song being “Omo Baba Jegede”.
“Shayo” has a universal message; it’s all about celebrating happy moments and remaining positive during hard times.
