Having started 2025 on a high, UK R&B newcomer Ebubé returns with another glowing single, “Lay With Me”. He paired the new song with a lovely music video capturing its intimate vibe.
“Lay With Me” is a romantic slow burner, a seductive song reminiscent of 2000s R&B.
“I wanted to make a song that evoked the feeling of yearning to be close to someone,” Ebubé explains. “‘Lay With Me does’ that, illustrating the sentiment you have on those nights you wish you were somewhere else…”
The artist’s previous song, “Where I Wanna Be”, received lots of editorial support, and now has close to 300,000 streams on Spotify alone. This new offering arrives at a time when his buzz is growing fast.
