Fake Dad unveil new EP called Holly Wholesome and the Slut Machine – Aipate

Andrea de Varona and Josh Ford met in 2020 and, despite their different musical backgrounds, bonded over their shared approach to making music. As Fake Dad, their brand of indie rock has already earned the band a solid following.

Fake Dad have just released a new EP, Holly Wholesome and the Slut Machine, that offers new listeners a rich showcase of their bouncy and utterly catchy sound.

In terms of concept, the mini-album is centred around imaginary characters representing real aspects of the artists’ own lived experiences. “WANTO”, which is one of the songs on the EP, has a colourful accompanying video (watch here).
