Jade Josephine is part of a new crop of talented female emcees who are bold in their overall expression. To succinctly illustrate why she’s highly regarded, I’m sharing “Anything Different”, which is the final track on a new compilation EP by Amori Sounds called Soul Currency.

The funk-fuelled hip hop track finds an assertive and unapologetic Josephine celebrating her self-worth and ambition. Produced by Martarius Hersey, “Anything Different” is embellished with infectious horns and guitars played by Farnell Newton, elevating its overall musicality. Altogether, it is quite invigorating and empowering.
