Strange Plants share their maiden song, “Tell Me All Your Secrets Pt. 2” – Aipate
Halifax-based Canadian band Strange Plants teamed up with producer Robbie Crowell to create “Tell Me All Your Secrets Pt. 2”. This is their maiden song, which arrived on February 7.
“Tell Me All Your Secrets Pt. 2” is an addictive funk jam with hints of psychedelic rock. While it is so engaging musically, the lyrics are deeply pensive, delving into fractured relationships and hidden truths.
Band leader Matt Brannon shares, “‘Tell Me All Your Secrets, Pt. 2’ is about that painful disconnection in a relationship — when someone is living a double life but refuses to admit it, even after it’s over. The song started with that personal story but grew into something mu”ch bigger, reflecting on the tension between authenticity and secrecy.“
