Caroline Romano drops “IDK These Days” as she prepares to release a new EP – Aipate
Caroline Romano is getting ready to release a new EP, How The Good Girls Die, on February 21st. The Nashville alt-pop artist dropped a new single last week. Called “IDK These Days”, it finds her embracing raw vulnerability.
“I wrote ‘IDK These Days’ during a period of inexplicable anger and frustration,” Caroline reveals. “It’s about the little things—like snow and traffic—that used to be trivial, suddenly becoming overwhelming. It’s that unsettling feeling when even your mom notices you’re not yourself, and you’re stuck in this state of discontent, feeling like a middle schooler again.”
The production features a minimalist arrangement which emphasizes Romano’s broody lyrics and heartfelt delivery. “IDK These Days” perfectly embodies her style.
