We have a new raver đ¶ â Around The World In 80 Raves
In all honesty hitting the âgrand old ageâ of 40 in 2019 made me reassess my life. I loved dance music, clubbing, and festivals, but I also wanted a kid.
See our pregnancy announcement here.
And now, we have a new raver, born in January 2021. Itâs been over a year now since weâve been to a gig, festival or even a bar, with Covid restrictions in place for much of 2020, but it doesnât matter with our new addition.
Nearly seven weeks after her arrival and weâve ventured out into the big wide world to go to Zen Baby, a mixture of baby massage and sensory fun for both of us.
OK, so it isnât quite Creamfields or Ultra, but our little one clearly enjoyed it and maybe 18 years down the line she will enjoy the adrenaline rush of a huge festival (if theyâre still around).
With disco lights, scarves, ribbons and bubbles, this is where youâll find us for the next few weeks.
And before you ask, no, I havenât given up raving, itâs just in a different way. Like everyone over the last year weâve had to find different ways of communicating, socialising and having fun. So for the time being, the raves have moved online, with baby friendly songs.
Donât worry though, weâll be back at the (baby friendly) festivals just as soon as they can go ahead. đ
